Trav, I can't thank you enough. Coming from an eating disorder in the past and living on EVERY shake diet, as real food just wouldn't work for me, you taught me that you can eat properly and regularly and still manage to lose weight.

You brought me from Shakes for years (with not even budging any weight) to someone who could eat multiple times per day, have a couple of "cheat meals" and have a messy weekend every now and again without fear of "will my clothes fit me come Monday" or "that guilt feeling in your mind."

Hey Trav,

I was 'diagnosed' with post viral fatigue/depression about five years ago and spent a good year not eating/wallowing in my divorce and often not having the motivation to get out of bed. It was not until I made an active decision to take charge and prioritize my health (physical and mental) that my life turned around.

Since then I have run five half marathons, two full marathons, climbed a mountain in Nepal and met the love of my life. After burning out (probably from overdoing it training for the NYC Marathon) and moving to England (lacking motivation in the cold) I fell back into a rut of complacency and bad habits had crept back.

I moved to Perth earlier this year and knew I wanted to make some changes, but just wasn't sure where to even start. I just want to let you know how amazed I am at how quickly I am achieving my own goals since starting training with you and how much difference the motivation/accountability of your program is making.

I have completely changed my diet (goodbye carbs, I am an egg, protein powder, blueberry, spinach, turkey junkie now) and feel all the better for it! Pretty damn happy with my bikini bod so far : ) So thank you!

Daniel Squats Double His Body Weight!

Trav I remember the day I walked into the gym and thought to myself “I’m pretty over this. I can’t get stronger, I can’t eat enough, I’m feeling sick as a dog nauseous, this is not worth it. All I wanna do is squat 100 and I’m never going to get there.”

That day you walked in and walked up to me at the squat rack and said "load up the bar with 100. You can do it. And I don’t want any weakness. Give it everything you got.” And I did. It felt crazy good.

You walked me over to the bench and said “load it up with 85″ I was like no way I’m doing this.” The bar went down. The bar came back up. It felt amazing. I big singled two big exercises.

I thought to myself “if only I could rep those weights for 5 I’d never want to be any stronger.”

From that day i have kept working, and eating, and working, and eating. I stepped off the bench today…
50×15, 60×12, 70×5, 80×5, 80×5, 85×5.

I walked (stumbled) off the squat rack on Friday... 120 for 4.

The 200% club on the squat has been my dream ever since I learned that squats were king. I’ve accomplished my goals and it’s beyond me belief.

I owe it all to you for planting that seed and giving me the kick in the pants I needed to keep at it. Appreciate it mate. I feel on top of the world. Can’t wait to see you in there.

I completed the Tri at the weekend coming in at 2hr 55mins - wanted to achieve sub 3hrs so pretty stoked!!

The 1.5km swim was as brutal as I thought it would be but glad I overcame it.

Completing the Tri has brought me down nicely to my initial target of 75kg - looking forward to setting a new goal of 70kg which I'll work on through 8 week transformation!

Appreciate all the help and support from you guys - couldn't have done it without you!

I just wanted to say g'day and wanted to say a big thankyou to you!! I know I don't train with you anymore, but that is because you brought me back for a pretty injury prone and FAT place and put me back on my feet to live the active life that I wanted to.

I get plenty of exercise now through my sports (windsurfing, SUP'ing, bike riding and trekking) and no longer encounter major injury setbacks. It keeps me strong all over and my weight is not far from where you helped me get it down to when I was at the precipice and we were intensely working on it Trav 🙂

My body and injuries no longer get in the way of anything I do and that is due to training and the foundation that you helped me create. I have just returned from an intense 2 week trip to Tassie hiking in some snowy/mountainous conditions (Overland track for 8 days) and my body just took it in its stride which left me to enjoy the journey.

I think of you often and hope you are well. I would love to catch up!! I still read all of your emails too.

I have regained an athletic physique again at the age of 46 years of age after being deconditioned for over 7 years. All due to excessive work commitments and leaving myself, my health and fitness, low on my list of life priorities.

Heya Trav, I'm just emailing to brag.

Have lost 3.8kg in four weeks since I started with you! And have returned to the "healthy" BMI weight range.... You're helping me stay motivated and make better food choices.

I've also found your training is really helping my other training. It's like my joints have oil them.

The three key aspects for me have been the support of a friend who is also watching her kilojoules, joining the cycling club and your program.

Between those three things I seem to be doing ok. Thought you'd like to know.

Hey Trav!

Happy New Year!

Just a quick note to say thanks for the help in 2012. I managed to get down to 220lbs from 255lbs and have maintained quite easily. That's not all either...I'm up to 6 pull ups (sets of two for now) which was one of my many goals. My longest distance running was 9km, just short of 10km goal.

As for eating habits, Michelle and I are trying very hard to only eat organic non GMO foods. This is proving to be difficult and expensive but we will continue on. I couldn't have done this without your guidance and daily positivity.

In 2013 my goal is to run 10km, complete 10 pull ups in a row, get down to 205lbs and try to get Michelle to be active! The latter will be the most difficult task.

Hope your 2013 is blessed with continued success and happiness. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you on the other side of the world.

I am very happy and it is all because of you. My work has an area within the company specializing in our health. A rep came out to check on our fitness, wellbeing, etc. and give us a biological age base on our fitness, diet, etc.

Everyone but me was higher than their actual age. Mine was 31 (I am actually 36) but he said it could be lower but that is where the scale ends! Yay me and you! Thanks

Chris Gained 13kg of Muscle in Only 5 Months!
